Growing Information:
Be sure to Plant your dahlia tubers outside after your last spring frost! If you want to pre sprout them and take cutting be sure to read our blog post explaining how . We plant our tubers 6-12' apart from each other depending on variety . Do not water your tubers in . Start watering your tubers once you see green foliage emerge through the soil or let those soring showers do the work for you!
All of the varieties of tubers we sell have been selected based off of a few different characteristics. We only grow varieties that are either very productive have strong stems and plant structure, long vase life and sought after colors for event work. All the varieties that we have selected for this sale have been grown here on our farm organically and are carefully handled by yours truly.
No tuber is alike and they come in many different sizes and shapes. Do not be fooled by size, even the smallest tubers produce big healthy plants. Tuber sizes will vary depending on variety but we guarantee that all dahlia tubers purchased from us will will be shipped with at least one visible eye.
Shipping: I cannot combine orders once purchased. If you place multiple orders I will do my best to send them together and be fair with shipping and refund you the difference but can not guarantee they will be combined due to the influx of orders and paperwork issues.
When you receive our tubers, please open immediately or keep stored between 40-50 degrees until ready to plant. It is crucial that your tubers do not freeze this will kill them .
We are not responsible for any damage or loss do to miss handling or weather.
Trust me I have been in your shoes dying for your tubers to come but until the weather warms up in spring depending on where you are in the US your tubers will not ship until we feel they will make it to you without the chance of freezing.
